TaqMan and Amplifluor

These assays are often useful for analyzing SNPs that are not represented in larger commercial multiplexed assays, custom SNPs or SNPs that do not pass assay design parameters using other platforms (e.g. Sequenom iPLEX). Useful for verifying/validating small #’s of SNPs over a small to medium number of samples that prove recalcitrant using other methods.
